Être en mouvement (2022)

What is the human body made of? What hardships and constraints does it endure throughout its existence? This work will recite a collection of poems that question our acceptance of the transience of our physical form. From the words of Abu Nawas to Elkahna Talbi, via Sarah Khilaji and her own texts, Amélie Prévost, accompanied by Alida Esmail's choreographic interpretations, will touch on a variety of themes with her voice, drawing heavily on individuals' relationship with their bodies and their evolution in Eastern and Western societies.
